Driving the kids to school this morning, quietly skimming through the neighborhoods that are just waking up to the bright grey clouds and a mist of rain, Elliott Smith's "Waltz #2" comes on the radio.
Mr12: (reading the radio display on the car dash) What's a waltz?
Me: It's a dance done to a song in three-quarter time, like one-two-three, one-two-three, one-two-three.
MissSeven: Did Waltz Disney invent it?
Me: (big smile)
