Well. Well well well. This was...quite a find on the YouTubes today, and I thought it deserved spotlighting. This 30 minute film from 1966 is a frank, humane, and progressive take on how to talk to children about sex and sexuality, and would have been unthinkable for anyone to make just a few years prior in the glossy and repressive 1950s. It is simultaneously dated and still relevant, genuinely informative and generally hilarious. It's so odd, isn't it, that the topic still remains something parents dread and a cause of much avoidance and tittering. Uh huh huh huh huh huh.
Please to enjoy!
