A small lil' post today from yesterday's Bumbershoot goodness as I have to rush out the door this morning to get back for the final day! Despite the challenges of unusual Pacific Northwest heat and humidity, I managed not to melt completely and had a blast shooting some of my favorite bands. I am always most happy to have my beloved punk/garage bands represented at Bumbershoot, and just made it into the fest to catch FIDLAR, who always are enjoyably crazy. They always seem to be bleeding from somewhere, and I hope they carry Bactine in their tour van. Carry on, boys, carry on!

I saw Tamaryn play last April at Austin Psych Fest and was eager to see them again here in Seattle. Their dreamy shoegazey set in the cool, dark KEXP Bumbershoot Music Lounge was absolutely perfect right after the sweatmania that was FIDLAR. (I shot them again later in the day, too, which will be coming up!)
